I just put a hen and a rooster in a small chicken coop a for a week and remove the rooster just in time when they start going broody and in 3 weeks chicks hatch.
I’ve been collecting pallets myself because I knew they would come in handy and I need a fence to contain my chickens, so a pallet fence is a great idea!!
